The Limits of Political Perversity:Umar Vs Obansajo

The Limits of Political Perversity:Umar Vs Obansajo

That President Olusegun Obasanjo and his cohorts are dangerously pushing this country to the precipice and that by doing so they are inviting a state of anarchy is a fact well known even to a mad man on the street whose ration has been drastically reduced by an overwhelming number of sane but hungry Nigerians who now have to scavenge for survival in the garbage dumps that had been the exclusive cafeteria of lunatics. I have been saying this in my other books. I am once more saying the same thing. The maddening level of insecurity in the land generated by multiple political assassinations and unprecedented spate of armed robbery, the grinding poverty in the midst of plenty, the hunger, the misery and the bitterness pervading the entire country, the outpouring of grief and anti-Obasanjo sentiments on the streets and on the pages of newspapers and the yelling and curses being heaped on those who are responsible for our woes are the ominous signs that the revolution is coming. They are harbingers of a bleak future unless something drastic is done to checkmate them. The alarming spate of anti-Obasanjo sentiments, the bitterness, the grief and the tumultuous yelling in the land reached the climax by Col. Abubakar Umar’s Open Letter to the president. In this book, the author says we should all thank God for the gift of Col. Abubakar Umar because he is certainly one of the very few people God is using to tell people like President Obasanjo that everything, including human wickedness and political perversity, ought to have a limit and must have a limit.
