On February 26, 2023, Nigerians came out in millions to elect their president. Mr. Peter Obi of the Labout Party won the election clearly. But before then, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had told the world that it was his turn to rule Nigeria – Emilokan. On March 1, 2025, in the dead of the night, when people were fast asleep, Prof. Mahamood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) told the world that Tinubu who lost the election was the winner. When Nigerians and the foreign election observers raised alarm, Yakubu told Peter Obi and other contestants to go to court. They went to court. While they were in the court to fulfil the law, on May 29, 2023, Tinubu was inaugurated the president of Nigeria against national and international outcry. On July 16, 2023, Tinubu warned the members of the presidential election tribunal that removing him as the president of Nigeria over his failure to score the required number of votes, particularly 25% votes in Abuja, as clearly stated by the law would trigger chaos and anarchy in the country. On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the Supreme Court, presided over by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, Justice Stephen Jonah Adah, Justice Misitura Omodere Bolaji-Yusuf, Justice Boloukuroma Moses Ugo and Justice Abba Bello Mohammed, endorsed the electoral crime committed by Mahmood Yakubu by declaring that Tinubu won the presidential election. To say the least, the imposition of a man who did not only lose the election but who is also clearly linked to all that is questionable and antithetical to credibility, justice, peace, unity and progress in this country clearly shows the disquieting degree of Nigeria’s predicaments. This book is a sobering reflection of the damage the Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his cohorts have done to the present and the future of Nigeria.
