Demofascism and The Flames of Religion
Coined from democracy and fascism, demofascism is a government of organized thuggery, organized deceit, organized robbery and a rabid Machiavellianism It is the opposite of democracy, which is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. While democracy is a government which allows the basic rights such as the right to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of opinion and association and the assertion of the rule of law accompanied by respect for minority groups, demofascism wears the garb of democracy but makes a mockery of the people’s basic rights in favour of the whims and caprices of a privileged political clique who hide under the umbrella of politics, ethnicism or religion. Demofascism and the Flames of Religion is a brief survey of the hell that has been let loose on innocent and law-abiding citizens in God’s name through the evil machinations of some disgruntled and greedy politicians. While these ravenous hawks incite the common people to fight and slaughter themselves in God’s name, they are busy looting the nation’s treasury. And at the end of the day, after the common people have slaughtered themselves and have been dumped in some mass graves somewhere in Kano, Kaduna or Jos, they come together and share their booty. In this way, they have succeeded in turning religion into the most lethal weapon even as they try to make God an accomplice in their crimes against the nation and against humanity.
